01 unprecedented scale
The 30th Guangzhou International Hi-Fi Show once again set a new record, with a total exhibition area of over 20,000 square meters, spanning across the Guangzhou Dongfang Hotel and China Hotel, resembling a vast “city-state” of music and audio. Over 200 exhibitors brought more than 1,000 brands and over 400 exhibition halls/rooms to the event. From the moment one stepped into the exhibition area, the dazzling array of audio equipment and the rich variety of record exhibits were overwhelming.
This time,ESD Acoustic once again presented the Lacquer Art Edition Super Dragon System. Unlike last year’s elaborate multi-layered setups with plant of electronic equipment arrays, the new configuration features three innovatively designed carbon fiber cabinets. The manufacturer has spared no expense in reconstructing all electronic equipment casings with carbon fiber materials, pursuing the utmost vibration damping effects. This meticulous redesign aims to enhance practical readiness for adapting to various large-scale outdoor events such as future concerts and music festivals, ensuring optimal performance in demanding acoustic environments.

On the 22nd and 23rd, renowned mezzo-soprano singer Ms. Yao Yingge brought her 2024 album New Folk Songs to the ESD Acoustics exhibition hall. The album blends diverse musical styles with vibrant melodies, attracting audiophiles in such numbers that the 500-square-meter hall became packed. ESD Acoustic’s founder, Mr. Dai Shangzhuo, shared his passion for audio technology, his advocacy for cultural confidence, and the brand’s relentless pursuit of innovation in the Hi-Fi field—aiming to bring high-fidelity sound systems into every household and let more families experience the magic of music.
Groundbreaking Products Unveiled
Beyond its flagship offerings, ESD Acoustic introduced four revolutionary new series during the event: Rosefinch (Zhu Que), H20, Sage (Dayin), and Hermit (Xiaoyin).
The standout stars were the Sage and Hermit，portable beryllium-diaphragm Bluetooth speakers. Dubbed “magic boxes” for their compact size and immense power, they feature sleek metallic bodies with fluid lines, seamlessly fitting into home and office settings. Equipped with Bluetooth 5.3 for stable, lag-free audio transmission, these speakers retain ESD’s signature world-exclusive rolled beryllium diaphragms and patented titanium sandwich diaphragms. A curved reflector design replaces traditional flat baffles, achieving superior sound performance with a smaller footprint.

The H20 model boasts a 1-meter-tall coaxial field-coil driver system, combining a 2-inch beryllium diaphragm with an 8-inch titanium diaphragm. Its reflector uses 60cm-diameter fiberglass or carbon fiber (with potential future materials). A dual-amplifier setup powers the mids/highs and bass, paired with Qualcomm 5.3 TWS Bluetooth for wireless stereo pairing.
H20
Notably, the H20, Sage, and Hermit are designed for customization. Reflectors can be crafted from materials like porcelain, colored glaze, or lacquer, allowing personalized patterns or logos. Bases can also be tailored with consumer messages, corporate branding, or artistic designs, transforming them into unique cultural IP carriers for lasting daily use.
